Project Three - Updated Script

After showing Ben the short film, we discussed some different ideas and decided that Sadie's part needed to be changed. So I rewrote the Sadie's part so that the detective was asking more questions, so that her part wasn't an extremely long paragraph but shorter paragraphs and sentences which is more commonly seen in Processing. I also got rid of the 'f' word, so I would not cause offense. Eek.

Sadie's Interview - Updated:

Interview Three

STRING SADIE

SADIE is a very lively guy. He comes across as confident but it is obvious he is being overly talkative to hide his nerves.

DETECTIVE

STRING SADIE, (sing next bit) the cleaning lady. (Chuckles). Right then SADIE, the only straight answer I’ve had from any of your acquaintances is that that you left at 4:07. Now I know you were together. Please tell me what happened at 4:07?

STRING SADIE

You know, well, okay. Well we went to the hospital at first to see if anyone was there but we didn’t end up knowing anyone, which, you know, was good because the hospital is bad unless, you know, you work there, you know like you’re a doctor or a nurse or a something rather. Unless you like hate your job or something…

DETECTIVE

Okay okay. Wait what? So you went to the hospital?

STRING SADIE

That’s what I said! And don’t ask me why because I told you that too!

DETECTIVE

Right, And then what happened? Where did you go?

STRING SADIE

Well we left the hospital and decided to go for a walk.

DETECTIVE

Right, but what did you do that afternoon that led to the crime?! (Desperate plea)

STRING SADIE

Well if you would let me finish! I wanted to swim so we walked down to the beach and I swam. It was like really cold so I got out and had a beer and an ice cream and I thought I saw a dolphin but in retrospect I don’t think I did. Where was I? Oh! Yeah! This is great! This is the funniest bit. Well not the funniest but, well… what?

You know, okay! Argh, stop interrogating me! We did it okay! You know! Shit….
